What Is Mr Jones Casino?
It’s a fresh face in the UK market, run by BlueOcean Ltd and fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. That means no offshore loopholes, proper player protection, and mandatory tools like deposit limits and GamStop integration. If you’ve been burned by flashy unregulated sites before, this one plays by the rules. The game library sits at over 2,000 titles, pulled from heavyweights like Evolution, Play’n GO, and NetEnt.
Welcome Bonus – How to Claim It
New players get a decent match bonus on their first deposit plus a stack of free spins on Starburst. Unlike many rivals, the bonus credits automatically – no code hunting or support tickets needed. Here’s how it works:
- Deposit at least the minimum amount (£20).
- The 100% match bonus lands instantly in your account.
- Your free spins are triggered straight away on Starburst.
The wagering terms sit at a fair level – not the easiest on the market, but a long way from the predatory x60+ you see on dodgy sites. Just keep bets under £5 during playthrough and clear the bonus within a week.
Game Selection – More Than Just Slots
Slots dominate, obviously – you’ll find Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead, Gates of Olympus, and Reactoonz. But the live dealer section is where Mr Jones really steps up. Powered by Evolution, it streams smoothly even on mobile: Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, and Immersive Blackjack all ran without a hitch in our tests. Classic table games like European Roulette and video poker are also available, and most have free demo versions so you can try before you risk real cash.
Payment Speed – Where It Shines
Fast, reliable banking is rare in the UK scene, but Mr Jones handles it well. We tested withdrawals and got e-wallet funds back in under three hours. Bank cards took a day or two. Here’s a quick look at the options:
| Method | Deposit Time | Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|
| Skrill / Neteller | Instant | Under 3 hours |
| Trustly | Instant | ~5 hours |
| Visa / Mastercard | Instant | 24-48 hours |
Just make sure your ID is verified early – they request it once, usually after your first withdrawal over a certain threshold. Using the same method for deposit and withdrawal avoids extra delays.
What We Liked
- Full UKGC licence – no grey-market risks
- Fast e-wallet payouts in hours, not days
- Mobile site works flawlessly on 4G and Wi-Fi
- 24/7 live chat support that actually responds quickly
On the downside, there’s no phone support and the VIP programme is under-promoted. And if you insist on crypto, you’ll be disappointed – it’s fiat only.
Final Takeaway
Mr Jones Casino isn’t perfect – the wagering could be lower and the loyalty scheme needs more visibility. But for a British player who wants a safe, fast, and genuinely fun online casino, it ticks most boxes. The combination of a real UKGC licence, instant bonuses, and sub-3-hour withdrawals puts it ahead of plenty of older brands. Try it with a small deposit first, use the demo games to find your favourites, and keep your KYC documents handy. That’s the smart way to play here.
